Eating Disorder Specialization
I specialize in providing in-person and telehealth therapy to preteens, adolescents, and adults navigating eating disorders and related concerns. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in CBT, DBT, harm reduction, and a whole-person perspective. I recognize that eating disorder recovery is rarely linear, and I meet clients where they are without judgment or rigid expectations about what recovery “should” look like.
I work with clients to better understand the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns that influence their relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. Together, we focus on developing practical coping skills, reducing harmful behaviors, increasing flexibility, and building a greater sense of agency throughout the recovery process.
I also value integrated, wraparound care and collaborate with dietitians, medical providers, psychiatrists, and other members of a client’s treatment team when appropriate. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel supported and understood while also being challenged to make meaningful, sustainable changes at a pace that respects their individual needs and goals.
